2017 Winter Retreat

The Annual Winter Retreat is coming up on Saturday, January 21st. This event is free and open to all music lovers. We'll have a variety of instrument workshops, plus lots of jamming. Whether you have been playing old-time music your whole life, or just got an instrument for Christmas, this event is for you!

Notes about the workshops:

Connie's 10:00 workshop will be about playing introductions. She will use the 2016 playlist, so bring a copy if you have it. All instruments are welcome.

Larry's 10:00 guitar workshop will cover playing techniques, maintenance tips and how to improve tone. Bring a capo if you have one.

Erin's 11:00 Mountain Dulcimer workshop will be about using a capo. Bring a capo if you have one; extras will be available to borrow. Her 2:00 workshop will be an instructional jam session, all instruments welcome.
